OVERVIEW

The term cerebral hemisphere concerning to the two parts of the brain that are separated by a cleft, are inversed and asymmetric.Their functional differences are near null, in a few areas have been found and are not differents in all the people.
It is believed that these differences between hemispheres are unique to humans. Since the language and logic processes are more complicated than those instincts, for example: the location.
These hemispheres compete and help each other, despite sounding like a contradiction its how the brain works. Until recently was discovered that with activities several parts of the brain work together.
One curiosity is that the left hemisphere governs mainly the right side of the body and vice versa.

The right hemisphere

This hemisphere uses a different process than the left. It are specializes in the sensations, feelings and special skills, like visual and sound skills. Instead of simplifying the data, seen as a whole. This method conforms to the immediate response. This hemisphere is responsible for the perception of the world, is the hemisphere responsible for visual memory, recognition of objects and people and location.
This hemisphere governs the right side of the body. It is credited withthe unconscious. To process information,is formed from it basic elements and are united into a whole.

The left hemisphere

The left hemisphere is responsible for the logic, writing, mathematics, speech, etc. It understand the concepts and ideas, and stores them in a language no verbale and then translated into a language learned. Specializes in language, logical information, information processing in series one by one, mathematics memory management, planning, execution and decision-making and long-term memory.

Intelligence tests measure the activity of this hemisphere. Many activities of the conscious are ascribed to this hamisphere. This hemisphere using the analysis to solve problems and simplify them.
